Once, I had the tape still suck and just the little canula sticking out of the middle of it like a toothpick. Grrr.... 450.

I guess it's the diabetic in all of us to think the "you should be more careful" statement is a bit off the mark. Sometimes it just doesn't matter how careful we are. Diabetes happens in spite of the care we take.Nicole Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11847231791131970750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18232675.post-1152938939491495682006-07-15T00:48:00.000-04:002006-07-15T00:48:00.000-04:00What a crappy day! That's what happens when you're used to running a bit on the high side. When I started trying to get my blood sugars lower, I was testing constantly because I always felt low. It took awhile for my body to get used to the lower range. Now I feel high around 200 mg/dl. Funny how our bodies adapt and get "used" to a certain feeling!Kelseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15158609377041501796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18232675.post-1152912924170172242006-07-14T17:35:00.000-04:002006-07-14T17:35:00.000-04:00Yuck - that sucks. Shit happens (did you see MY post today?!). We deal with it and move on.

How the heck could you have known that your set was going to come out? You noticed it when you had unexplained high BG's and then took corrective action.

In my humble opinion you did just fine.

And to point out that I don't have issue with your husband's concern, I just don't agree with that particular statement.

Feel better soon!!Scott K.
